Appearance
Rich text
A single column of headings, formatted copy, and buttons stacked in the order you add them. Use it for an intro paragraph, an about statement, or any block of prose that doesn't need an image.
Add it under Add section → Rich text, then add blocks. The section takes up to six blocks in any mix.
Blocks
- Heading — the text, a Heading size (Small, Medium, or Large), and a Heading tag. Up to two per section.
- Text — a rich-text field with links, bold, and lists.
- Button — a Button label, Button link, and Button style (Solid or Outline). Up to two per section.
When to use H1
Heading tag sets whether a heading block renders as <h1> or <h2>, and defaults to H2. Set it to H1 (page title) only on a page that has no other main title — for example a custom page built entirely from Rich text and other sections, like the demo FAQ page. Every page should have exactly one H1.
Note: Pages that already carry a title from their main section — products, collections, blog articles — should leave every Rich text heading at H2.
Layout
Alignment sets the column to Left or Center. Narrow content width, on by default, caps the column at a comfortable reading measure; turn it off to let the copy run the full content width. Color scheme, Top padding, and Bottom padding control the section's background and spacing.
