Company and location switcher
B2B customers who buy for more than one location can switch which location they are ordering for, straight from the header. Prices, catalogs, and payment terms follow the location they pick.
Note: This needs Shopify Plus with B2B. The switcher only appears for a signed-in customer attached to a company. Guests and regular retail customers never see it.
Turn it on
- Open the Header section.
- Under B2B, turn on Show company and location.
The setting reads: "Lets B2B customers switch their active company location from the header."
How it behaves
The header shows the company name and the current location. When the customer's company has more than one location, this opens a dropdown listing every location they can order for; picking one sets it as active and reloads with that location's pricing. When the company has a single location, the header shows the company and location as plain text with no dropdown.
Choosing a location uses Shopify's own location handling — the theme doesn't store the choice itself.
Narrow screens
The header switcher is hidden below 1100px to save room. On phones and small tablets, buyers switch location from their account instead, or from the announcement bar switcher if you have enabled it.
The announcement bar switcher
A second switcher can sit in the announcement bar above the header. It is a separate toggle: Theme settings → Wholesale → Show company location switcher. It follows the same rules — a signed-in B2B customer with more than one location gets the dropdown, and one-location companies see static text. See Announcement bar.
