Editor basics
Everything in Wonpa is built and arranged in the Shopify theme editor. This page covers the vocabulary and the three moves you'll use most: adding, reordering, and hiding.
Open the editor from Online Store → Themes, then Customize next to Wonpa.
Sections and blocks
A section is a horizontal band of the page — a hero, a trust strip, a featured collection. You add sections to a template and stack them top to bottom.
A block is a piece inside a section. A trust strip holds item blocks; a testimonials section holds client and quote blocks. Blocks belong to their section and move with it.
The left sidebar mirrors this: sections are the top-level rows, and each section expands to show its blocks.
Add, reorder, hide
- To add a section, select Add section at the bottom of a template's section list and pick one. To add a block, expand a section and select Add block.
- To reorder, drag a section or block by its handle in the sidebar. Order in the sidebar is order on the page.
- To hide without deleting, select the item and toggle the eye icon on its row. Hidden items keep their settings for when you turn them back on.
Deleting a section removes its blocks and their content. Hiding is the safer choice when you're unsure.
Where Theme settings live
Section settings affect one section. Theme settings — the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar — affect the whole store: colors, typography, layout, product cards, cart, and wholesale. A change there shows up everywhere at once.
