How do I show stock numbers on product cards?
Turn on the stock line, then let Shopify's inventory tracking supply the count. A card shows a number only when the product's variants are tracked.
- Open Theme settings → Product cards.
- Turn on Show stock status.
With tracking on, the card shows the units in stock, switches to a low-stock count under 50 units, and reads backordered or sold out at zero. On products where inventory isn't tracked, the line reads "In stock" with no number, because Shopify has no count to show.
To get numbers, enable inventory tracking on the variants in your admin under the product's Inventory section.
